Therapies provided

Bio- and neurofeedback are methods that help the patient to become aware of what he/she can undertake to improve health or reach peak performance. The more you as a patient learn about yourself and the functioning of your body and brain, the better you can consciously support your self-regulation and self-healing mechanisms.

The Mind&Body Performance Center of the Institute for Neurofeedback and Biofeedback (I-NFBF) gives its clients/ patients the opportunity to train with the most advanced medically certified neuro- and biofeedback devices proven in leading hospitals and universities. Research projects with European universities and clinical experience have led to the development of highly efficient neuro- and biofeedback training protocols for the treatment of stress-related and complex clinical symptoms and for increasing mental and physical performance.

The I-NFBF Mind&Body Performance Center offers:

  • Intensive, performance-oriented neuro and biofeedback training sessions with acoustic, visual and tactile feedback to ensure robust and lasting results
  • Sophisticated and high-tech three-dimensional brain map recording / neurodiagnostics and QEEG services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors
  • Stress profiling, stress-flexibility and -resilience-training to support excellence for athletes, leaders and artists
  • These benefits are reimbursed by several Swiss complementary health insurances.

Furthermore, patients are trained in a variety of specialized therapies of neuroscience like neuromodulation therapies, deep relaxation techniques, hypnosis, meditation, emotional and physical rebalancing therapy (EPRTH), photo-bio modulation with low-level-laser, mindfulness meditation techniques, as well as in cell revitalization techniques like simulated high altitude training with IHHT (Intermittend Hypoxia Hyperoxia Training).

As well, the I-NFBF Mind&Body Performance Center combines biofeedback and neurofeedback with intermittent cellular oxygen therapy for athletes and high-performance clients seeking to improve post-workout recovery and resistance to overtraining and injury, as well as slowing down aging processes. This innovative scientifically-based biofeedback method is effective in the adjunctive treatment of complex or chronic conditions as well as chronic fatigue / burnout, sleep disorders, fibromyalgia, dementia, pain and metabolic disorders. This therapeutic offer is complemented with hypnosis and deep relaxation therapy to lift mental and emotional blockages of the patients.

Visiting clients of the I-NFBF Mind&Body Performance Center include infants, schoolchildren, students, adults, elderly people, managers, pilots, athletes, actors, musicians and singers who want to increase their physical and psychological performance (e.g. brain training, emotion control and stability, stress regulation, stress resilience, learning ability, concentration, speed of reaction, practicing new behavior patterns, mental training, improve creativity). In addition, children and adults with the following clinical symptoms can improve their well-being by neuro and biofeedback training (alphabetical order):

It is clearly understood that Neuro- and Biofeedback are alternative and complementary therapies. In this sense, they do not replace academic medicine and do not hinder any treatment medically ordered by the patient's doctor.
