Training Programme - Four Trimesters to the Diploma

• The diploma programme is divided into four logically structured trimesters, from fundamentals and clinical deepening to specialisation and exam preparation.
• In the first trimester you become familiar with all systems; from trimester 2 onward you work in depth on your chosen platform and with your own patients.
• Each course day is accompanied by a team of lecturers to ensure intensive practical work and close supervision.

Trimester 1 - Fundamentals and System Overview

• Neurophysiological foundations, including brainwaves, EEG generation, and functional neuroanatomy.
• Introduction to all neuro- and biofeedback systems; practical work with every available device.
• Initial assessment and introduction to clinical protocols.
• Fundamentals of biofeedback modalities such as HRV, EMG, skin conductance, respiration, and temperature.

At the end of the first trimester you choose your preferred system for further specialisation.

Trimester 2 - Clinical Deepening

• Introduction to QEEG-guided treatment planning.
• Advanced clinical protocols for ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, sleep disorders, and chronic pain.
• Intensive hands-on training on your chosen system.
• Beginning of supervised patient work at your own location.

Trimester 3 - Specialisation and Practice

• Advanced indications such as autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, peak performance, and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Case studies and clinical decision competence in realistic therapeutic scenarios.
• Advanced device technique, protocol adjustment, and progress documentation.
• Advanced supervised patient work with structured case discussion and three case studies as diploma thesis.

Trimester 4 - Exam Preparation and Completion

• Review and consolidation of all core theoretical and practical content.
• Focused preparation for the written and oral diploma examination.
• Practice-building guidance covering positioning, patient acquisition, billing, and integration into existing clinics or practices.
• Written and oral diploma examination.

Available Systems

The training is carried out on medically certified systems such as NeXus/BioTrace+ (NeXus 4/10/Q24/Q32), Biograph Infinity, Cygnet & BEE Medic, BrainMaster, and ANTNeuro with EEGO24; new devices are integrated continuously.
